Hey Guys,
We have shifted offices and the new office doesn't have a rack so we have had our old rack server sitting on a table for the last couple of months. I'm moving everything to a Tower Server (HP ML110 G5) with a dual core Pentium and 6GB RAM + an e200 with 64mb RAM and no BBWC connecting 2x 2TB WD green drives in RAID 1. It's running ESXi 4.1.

The rack server was a Super Micro 6015 with 2x quad core Xeon, 16GB RAM and a non BBWC supermicro AOC RAID controller (4x1.5TB in 2x RAID 1 array).

Anyway the disk performance seems to be really bad on the HP, like a VM can't even get to 10MBps read/write. I'm wondering if the e200 needs a BBWC pack to make it faste. If it does, where do I get them?. I remember reading a blog post on the subject here. Any input would be appreciated :)
