Any recommendations?

Im contemplating these two options.
1, Would it be best to buy a windows server and setup sharepoint our self
2, Buy a ready hosted sharepoint, where a company manages the back end and we just use the front end.

I'm thinking we should host it our self on a NZ server as we already have a SP license rather then paying on a per user basses.

Any one have experience in good NZ providers?
