Hi all, 

I have spent the most part of this morning developing what I have called the "Open free2TXT API". It allows you to send messages for to numbers on the Vodafone NZ network. This is using their free2TXT web service. The API will in future allow you to see in JSON, JSONp and XML the following data but for now it only shows whether or not the message was sent:

• TXT's used
• TXT's remaining
• TXT's allocated

This could come in handy for developing an app that lets people send TXT messages for free. I also developed a similar Open Cellular Usage API a few weeks ago that showed, as the name implies, Cellular Usage data. You can download the API from: http://code.google.com/p/open-free2txt-api/
