They can write what they want, but it's not enforceable. It's just hot air. It also says in some books that they cannot be loaned. Libraries would be in trouble if that were the case.
EDIT: I'm not sure about limitations on DVD rental, so I removed reference to video rental stores.

dvr recording is recording the air waves its not like you duplicating a DVD
(then a p2p-er would uploaded the dvr to the web .. far lending of the material :)

they tried this in denmark but the people rose up and throw the mps out of the house
in the end they passed it so it was legal to make a backup recording of any cd and dvd
for personal use..
they also have the best internet speeds and unlimited data in the world... they set the example to the rest of us

tardtasticx: 2Degrees should make some really high usage packs, so pirates can use those. The bill says the suspention of internet doesnt apply to mobile internet connections until 2013 or something because of the high cost of data.
