How are Caller ID Subscriber Details maintained? I get calls from a couple of businesses where the name that appears with the phone number is incorrect and many years out of date. This is on my Freepbx phone system using 2Talk but I think it's the same on incoming calls to my mobile number.

Or are they not maintained at all now and should be ignored?

That list 2talk have was scraped from the whitepages years ago and is extremely out of date. IMO it should be removed entirely as it's not helpful at all.

There are apps for your mobile that will pull data from the likes of your social media contacts who have their mobiles listed. But it's not info that is provided by the networks at all.

B-Party Database (party calling you as the A-Party) is all reverse-engineered and yes, scraped.

If you see out of date information, on your Telco's system, talk to your Telco!
