Hey.

I'm looking at starting to use a budgeting/finance app to keep track of my daily/weekly spending. I just had a look on the Play tore and there are so many apps, not sure where to start.

For the past few years I have been keeping track in a spreadsheet, however it's very basic and it's only separated into a few categories such as rent, shopping etc. I want to have more detail now so I know I'm spending $7.52 on bread per week, $2.89 on milk (examples obviously). I'm looking for something where I can enter how much I earned for the week (wages) and then I can put in where I spent my money, and therefore how much I have for the week left over. If this could be created under some kind of tab system (Supermarket etc) that would be ideal, rather than a list of 100 things.

Hopefully this all makes sense. Thanks!

YNAB and Pocketsmith received good comments here on GZ previously (for the system, not the cellphone specific app)

Hopefully you can find something that can do OCr from the receipts and match it to your bank transactions.

Hi if its any help you can use the categories feature of the PlayStore. I chose Finance: https://play.google.com/store/apps/category/FINANCE  then look for top apps both paid and free.
