Hi Question?
Has anyone successfully installed and run ICS on a i9000T I am keen to give it a try
I installed the version 4.0.3 RC2 using CWM recovery and got it to run but could not get the phone to connect to the network.
Looked at the APN settings they were already loaded but looked different to the ones I use on XXJVT

I guess my question is how to connect i9000T to telecom running ICS

I see ICS is now at RC2.11

and are there any other problems I should be aware off
Many thanks Peter

Sounds like you need to flash an 850mhz enabled modem. I use UGJL2 on my i9000t on darky's rom (2.3.6 I think). I haven't tried this one on an ICS build yet though.

Hey, I am currently running ICS from onecosmic at xda developers RC1 just fine. I have used I9000UGKG3 modem on XT since early versions of MIUI on gingerbread. It works 100% fine on these ICS roms as well so I can recommend that radio for all over the country (I travel a bit for work and is used all over NZ).

Hope that helps.

Hi,

I am on XT and gave ICS a go for a wee while, used teamhacksung's build 10.

Had a problem getting a network connection too.

I ended up using a CM7 Radio version of the UGKG3 modem.

I used this guide to install ICS.....

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1379650

and from this link you will find the modem....

http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...8&postcount=45

I quite liked ICS, but found it burnt through the battery in extra time, due to excessive Android OS usage, so ended up going back to a JVZ ROM....keen to try ICS again soon once a few of the teething problems have been ironed out.

Hope it works for you.

Cheers.

No bother.

Sorry about that link, not sure what happened there.

The APN settings should install automatically when you install the ICS ROM. They shouldn't be affected by the installation of the modem.

I would install the ROM again if I were you, then install the modem again via CWM.
