OT: @XinfinityoO Please don't use SMS style abbreviations - it's against the FUG and really hard to read.

Man this is a seriously slick phone. Have we got all the latest updates though? Security patch says March and the camera looks pretty average.

Next update will disable that lens until they get a workaround

Latest should be April security patch from what I have read on the OP forums. Chances are you have just not been placed into the cue yet to get the OTA.

On my OP6 I use Oxygen Updater from the play store they usually get the patches way before the OTA hits may be worth a try.

Is there a way of increasing shutter time for nightscape? Even the iPhone let's you select up to 10 seconds (30 if stable)

Nope, nothing available for me to add any settings. Seems like a software big, quite a major one IMO.

Have you checked everything is correct under the SIM/network settings? I had to manually add the APN when I got my old OnePlus.

Do you have a screen shot of settings you used?

I don't unfortunately - it's under settings > wifi & internet > SIM & network > SIM1 > Access point names on my phone though, not sure if the menus will still be the same on the OnePlus 8?

This post has the same settings as mine by the look of it if you are with vodafone:
