Steve113: I ordered mine on 30th of Nov with 6-7weeks delivery time.
Now the order on the google wallet is just showing as 'Pending'

Gosh i really hope they'll process it soon or show some progress signs its been a long wait...

Same boat as you. Although, I'm waiting on a 8GB ordered from the Play store on the 28th November (27the in the USA). Currently showing as Pre-ordered....

Strange thing occured yesterday though. I went into the Google Play store via my work blackberry and it let me buy an 8GB with 3-5 days shipping. Says 'Confirmed' under order status in the Play Store? And... National Bank had the funds taken out immeadiately yesterday (NZ$382.00).

Must be a glitch, but I currently have two orders on the play store. The original 28th Nov order and yesterday's 13th Dec order. I've emailed them and they have confirmed the second order is in their system but did not mention the shipping time frame (3-5 business days).

Highly unlikely the second order will work in my opinion seeing that NO 8gb models are currently being shipped from Google.

Seems like Noel Leeming have limited stock in at the moment.

Demo phones + 1 or 2 phones per store, or at least the larger stores.

Picking my order up tonight!

I don't think that this has any effect on your sim, well I hope not as that's false advertising!

Ahh, I thought they were always 'locked' but the nexus devices were easy to unlock (i.e. you didn't need to root it to unlock)

That must be the bootloader.
It is locked by default.

To unlock you just have to "fasboot unlock". It will wipe your phone for security reasons.

I've decided I am a bit annoyed. I ordered on Monday and it hasn't yet arrived for the weekend.

Call me impatient, but when I order stuff online these days I have come to expect next or following day delivery, and if it has not arrived by the second or third day after payment (with no advanced warning of that fact) I call it slack.

This experience will mean I probably won't order online from the warehouse again.

(definitely some first world problems I am having here though - my $700 smartphone won't be here for the weekend.. wah wah)

Yep, if I don't see anything on Monday I'll be phoning to ensure they passed the order on to the third party handling the orders - as mine still says "New" on their website.

Have you phoned the 0800 number?

I ordered on Wednesday and phoned the o8oo number todat as there was not going to be anyone home at the delivery address. They could tell me that it hadn't been dispatched (although I had already noticed the charge appearing on my CC yesterday) but that it was due for dispatch today.

They will be able to do a track and trace once it has been dispatched so i would definitely get them to track and trace yours if I were you.

I rang Warehouse 0800 number this morning......Ordered on Monday.......They couldn't tell me anything as a "supplier" was dispatching them.....Asked for tracking number but was told the "supplier" hadn't provided that yet and wouldn't be until ALL orders had been dispatched....Said they would contact "supplier" to get an update and get back to me.......Still waiting at 5pm for them to get back.......P*ss poor service!

Has anyone who has ordered through VPN from Google play had their order turn up? I'm wondering some rough time frames for delivery, as I normally get things shipped to work, but since it is closed for Christmas I'm wondering if I should get Youshop to send it to my home address. Is the 7-11 days stated by Youshop accurate in peoples experience.

My order was shipped from Google a couple days ago and has just reached the Youshop warehouse according to the tracking number. Hasn't shown up on Youshop yet so I guess they're still processing it.

Also I'm wondering if Anyone has dealt with customs before? I have the 16GB one so it will need duty paid. Will that add additional time to the 7-11 days from Youshop? Anyone have any tips on streamlining the payment of duty so it clears as fast as possible?

Any advice would be awesome. Thanks

Yep - still hanging on... :(

Mine's going to the office, if nothing shows up today I'll be calling them up and asking them to contact the supplier and find out what the heck is going on.

That's quite poor service. Have they apologised or taken any responsibility or are they just pointing the finger elsewhere? They're the ones that said 3-5 days so they should be doing what they can to honour that. I got mine in 1 day so I was extremely happy...but it sounds like not everyone got the same level of service. If they didn't have stock then they shouldn't have kept selling!

Yep, it's pretty poor indeed - they're very quick to charge your credit card.

Some others said they'd tried contacting the Warehouse and they kept saying it's a third party doing the distribution and they'd have no tracking info until all orders had gone out - well what use is that?
