Had to faff around getting a client id that I did not realise that I already had :).
Paid the GST over the phone when Fedex phoned up, Then went to the Fedex building in Chch to pick them up ... heres a picture of them both. :)

Hi Ryan, still waiting to hear when mine will ship so no playing with one yet for me. Plehmann is the only one of us that I know has got his - he must have ordered well early (I ordered last Monday). When I do I'll either use the specific thread he opened or perhaps we'll set up a more generic support threat open for all of us (and those in the future) who have bought Desires and have questions/advice/tips etc...

I ordered mine on the 2nd April. Still haven't received any confirmation whether my order's been sent or not...

I'm itching to email them to ask, but they've specifically told us not to :P

I understand your pain

I've been tempted too but held off for the same reasons. I'm taking comfort since I got in well before the 12th they should get to mine soon. I keep trying to remind myself it's only a phone (well, a very smart phone) but when it comes to new toys why shouldn't we get excited? It's a nice distraction from all the other glum stuff we tackle daily - not much beats getting good stuff in the mail.
