andrewb: Yep, it's pretty poor indeed - they're very quick to charge your credit card.

Some others said they'd tried contacting the Warehouse and they kept saying it's a third party doing the distribution and they'd have no tracking info until all orders had gone out - well what use is that?

Someone needs to raise this with management. Whether they oversold or whether 2degrees are having issues meeting the demand; the customer should be informed. Someone needs to do some yelling perhaps? :) I know I'd be bl**dy pi**ed off if mine hadn't arrived yet. It has only been a week but I hate it when people over promise and under deliver...AND then don't front up.

Unfortunately there was a glitch between The Warehouse on-line system and 2degrees, all sorted now, and devices are going out today. Delivery should be made tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest.

Thanks for the reply. It's annoying to me because if there really was a glitch, you would have thought it was pretty apparent last week when some of us called, yet we were essentially fobbed off (perhaps due to a lack of information available to the call center people).

Of course I have no idea what has actually happened, but I'm not impressed with their distribution chain. I would have thought that supply, stock management and distribution would have been key to an organisation like the warehouse.

Maybe they don't do much in the way of volume for online orders or perhaps this was done differently for some reason. Anywho, we will wait for tomorrow.

Some one should let the Warehouse 0800 people know this. I rang just over an hour ago and got fobbed off again (rang last Friday as well).

My mate just bought one from the Warehouse Stationery at $699. They had to call the buyer in the support office and he/she let it through :)

They got some stock apparently.

So I'm also waiting for my Warehouse delivery of a Nexus 4. Not too impressed with the delay....

But even more pissed about the Nexus 4 I ordered from www.valuebasket.co.nz on November 29 which never arrived. They were advertised as in stock when I ordered and took them until December 10 to let me know I wasn't going to get the phone any time soon. A week later and I'm still waiting for a refund. Stay away from valuebasket!

Yeah! Finally heard from google play. My N4 is on it's way. Still going to be quite a while to get here mind.

When I purchased it on the 27th Nov I had a 2 to 3 well wait and it actually took 20 days, so on time suite them. Asst least the nz $ has gone up since I initially bought it. I guess it will be her early new year??

So they just called them up and asked for the $699 price? there isnt anything on their website :(

You misunderstood buddy. The RRP is $799 - The store called support office and asked permission whether they can sell it at $699 to my friend and it was approved.

If your local Warehouse Stationery have stock - You should just show them the forum post and request if they can get permission to sell one to you at $699 :) It could be your lucky day.

I got a shipping email from Google this morning too. I (first) ordered on the 27th Nov... but that one is still Pending in my Google Wallet. The crazy order for a sold out 8GB I made on the 13th Decemebr (last Thursday) has been shipped!! (LONG story - but it let me order an 8GB Nexus 4 from a saved page in my Blackberry??? Even though the phone has been officially sold out since the 28th Nov!!)

Need to cancel the 27th November order or I'll have two phones!! But want to make sure my US Postal address receives the phone first before cancelling the other one.
