mahdibassam: So can we recap what are our options at the moment of ordering the HTC One in NZ other than Clove and Handtec?
Greaver: Yeah none of the amazon/ebay ones have caught my eye, surprisingly the double dip hard shell case actually looks really good to me.
Bit worried about the potentially scratching from it but yeah wbu?
dauckland: OK
Spent the last 4 hours going through it.
The phone is fab.
Have to say at the moment I am not a great fan of the BlinkFeed.
But the phone lets you swap a standard home screen as the default.
The screen is super bright. Colours are more natural than on a Galaxy S2 and S3.
The speakers are amazing!!!
The included earphones are a complete surprise - they are actually better than my pair of SOL!!!
Have some more pics and a couple of videos so will post those tomorrow.
Will also take some pics tomorrow and post those too.
But so far I am very impressed.
D
Kopkiwi: Have Vodafone or Telecom announced and date yet? Or a rough date. Phone is less than a month away yet no pricing, but have pricing on the S4?

Vodafone - nope. But from my sources it may be around the $1149 mark as it's 4G.
Telecom - while it's 4G, as they don't have a network to support it, their pricing is $999.
Availability for Telecom is around early May. It's going to be a long long month.

I'm not to keen on the "inflation" were seeing on cellphone prices these days. $1149 for both the S4 and the One? I shudder to think of the price of a brand new phone in a few years time and its not like we have decently priced contracts like the states do to warrant it.

That's why I jumped on the $999 Telecom handset. With 20% off during Easter, I got mine for $799.
