Dingbatt: Glad to see my update isnt slower than anybody elses! Another 45 minutes looking at the snails pace on the progress bar. Still its a lovely sunny Saturday while I wait...
Anybody with a Telecom sourced handset and SIM able to confirm that this also enables 4G?

Installed the update. It does indeed enable 4G.

You could download the OTA and then sideload it: http://fotadl.htc.com//secure/OTA_M7_UL_JB43_SENSE55_MR_Optus_AU_3.63.980.2-2.24.980.2_release_338875eswfv28i2bcwn8kh.zip/surl:kid=93,et=1385111916,h=DC45127B29D786DC7245906D849E2286

You need to reboot your phone after the 600kb update. Then it offers the 600mb one.

+1 to that! Hopefully someone will do an app that hides it the way they did with the power saver one...

Check the Sense 5 toolbox, it's an xposed module. Otherwise there is a mod over on the Xda forums that also does it.

My wife's OTA upgrade has just failed. Mine worked fine and we both have Telecom HTC Ones. The initial 600k upgrade downloaded fine but when she tries to download the 600M full update it complains of a corrupted download and to 'try again'. Problem is it always fails now and complains of a corrupt download.

Tried power down, wait 5min power up, tried Wifi and 3G and it makes no difference.

Any ideas?

How full is your wife's One. Is there enough memory available for a 600+ MB file?

I had the same issue with my One. Every time it looked like it was downloading, I would leave it for a few minutes and I would came back to that message. So, I left it on charge and was using it the whole time while it was downloading the update and it then went fine.

Not an uncommon thing for OTA updates (not just HTC or Android).

Downloading it on your PC and then sideloading can often be a safer course of action, check my post on the previous page for a link.

Anyone else now having bluetooth issues? My One X was never fully happy streaming to my car stereo, and the One was. Now the metadata has stopped :/

If you have to run heating in winter, you don’t own enough computers.
