hungugu:XinfinityoO:
do you get a screen protector too ?? if you bought from pbtech ??
You don't get a separate protector but there is factory one already applied on the phone out of box.
Which is bloody terrible and was removed day one.

Yea, it is meant to be temporary protection only. I am looking for good protectors too....any recommendations? :D
Dxomark results are out and you'll be disappointed. On a different note, I wonder why you're picking oppo find x2 as an option and not Xiaomi Mi 10 pro as a cheaper but a good alternative? By the way, if you're on Kogan Network, may work on your device too. Screenshot from a non-1plus8pro device.

I had inquired about the Mi 10 Pro with Xiaomi NZ and they advised that the device would not officially be released in NZ. It's a shame as I was giving that phone some serious consideration.
2.6GHz Dual-Core E5300. 4GB (DDR2-800), GeForce 210, Windows 7 Home Premium (64 Bit), AOC 1600x900 LCD display, Linksys WAG120N.
Phone:
HTC One X, 1.5GHz Quad-Core Nvidia Tegra 3, 1GB RAM, 32GB Flash Memory, 4.7" 720x1280 HD IPS LCD2 Display.
ISP:
TelstraClear. (Looking to move though!)

Which is why DXO is absolute trash. Most reviewers agree the S20+ is better than the Ultra, I came from the iPhone 11 Pro and it's superior to the OnePlus in every way.
Finally updating from my Oneplus 3t, looking at purchasing from Supero as my budget is $1k. My options are either the 8 or the 7t pro. What would be your go to? I prefer the camera layout of the 7t.
obliterator77: The camera on the 8 pro has blown me away! So sharp, depth vision is incredible and colours pop so well. Really impressive.
Unfortunately, the 8 pro is way more than I want to pay right now, I have heard great things though.
I thought the OP8PRO did pretty good on DXOMark given its using the IMX689 main processor which is smaller than the competition (not by much). It goes Huawei 40 pro, Samsung s20+/Xiaomi 10 pro, OP8PRO.
The biggest differences here are the Huawei (along with using the top Sony sensor IMX700) is using if not just brand games, LEICA lenses, Samsung is using its HM1 bright sensor which is the same size as Xiaomi who are using Samsungs Bright S5KHMX (both 108Mp quad bayer style) and OP8Pro as said using the 48MP Imx689 main sensor.
There is not a lot between these cameras, especially if you have a Snap Dragon S20.
Once the Pixel 4 GCam is updated then ported I think there is going to be splitting hairs between the bottom 3 with the Huawei being the clear (but priced so) winner, given its not running play apps, personally I see value in the Xiaomi and the OP8P, given its pretty hard to get an S20 qualcomm model here.
I didnt realise the OP8P had a macro in the wide angle sensor, that makes it even more value for money IMO vs the Samsung Exynos model.

Kopkiwi: I am getting some serious connection issues with this phone. Won't get any notifications for hours then they'll all come piling through at once.
