ArtooDetoo:jpanwala: tried quickpic and other app called reduce image size, neither have the ability to batch resize...
Any luck with the image upload/resize app? Did any of the suggestions fit your needs?
kiwitrc:valtam: What are you guys formatting your 32gb sd cards in, exFat, fat32?
I think I formatted it using my HTC Desire, I didnt do anything to it just threw it into the SGS2 and it works fine.
Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.
jpanwala:
Tried another couple have now uninstalled them so don't remember what they were. What I am after is yes these apps allow sharing after resizing, BUT only for a single image. The moment you select two or more in that gallery/quickpic, options limit to email and picas and messaging. Yet it does not optimize file size for emails. It does for PXT, but i want to email them.
psychrn:stevenz:Kilack: also.. how is the battery life on the galaxy s2 now that you have the optimised roms going etc compared to the galaxy s? we at least getting through a day comfortably?
I'm currently on 22 hours use with 33% battery left. That's with about 20mins of phone call and a fair bit of tinkering. I've disabled all of the Samsung social-media apps which are known to be battery eaters though. They strike me as fairly useless, so no loss there.
Hopefully 2.3.4 won't be far off which is supposed to fix most of the battery issues. Not holding my breath though :)

can someone point me in the right direction on how to disable these hubs. ?? Ta?

Na.. none does a batch resize.
have tried following apps until now. All free ones though obviously as I want to see whether they would do what I want it to!
Options seem like I take pictures in lower res beforehand, or transfer to PC and then resize and send or email one by one. All killing productivity! There has to be a way... just need to find out what it is. :)
On another topic, this is supposedly the fastest phone (it is atlas for me!) but the gallery sometimes (intermittently) takes unto 25 seconds to show content, otherwise only loading... is this normal or could be linked to RAM and free memory management? If it si, should be it this slow?
K1000716: Overclocking mine to 1300mHz made the gallery much faster to load, also made hi-def videos load instantly when there had been a noticeable delay before. It made no appreciable difference to battery life.

What O/C app did you use?
The Cognition 1.06 kernel update has made a noticeable difference in speed, and I only losy 4% overnight with 3g sync going. As someone here suggested a while back (or maybe it was XDA), the performance gains through tweaking ROM's will be limited with this device - the real gains will come through kernel dev. work.

SetCPU is available for free via the XDA forums if you sign up. Cognition OC's to 1500Mhz which is pretty amazing. I underclock my SGS2 to 1Ghz for more battery life, I can't tell any difference in performance.
Cog v1.06 doesn't seem to be on the download page yet. Where'd you find it?
