5.1? I've only just got 5.0.1 on my lg pro 2.

I haven't used it enough to test performance and battery, but I'm not overly impressed with the design. It seems like they have changed some things for the sake of it.

I'll get used to it, just should have remembered the saying 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it'

Anyone else think the same?

Nope. Despite the very annoying memory leaks on my Nexus 5 under Lollipop I could never go back to a non Lollipop phone these days. Android prior to Lollipop seems like a dinosaur.

Lollipop is a BIG improvement in design for me.
I really love the new look.

Sony Z2 5.0.2 apparently started OTA rollout 3 weeks ago but haven't seen it here yet (with Vodafone). I'm actually quite impressed with the battery life on my Z2 so I hope it doesn't get worse.

Any Sony Zx users seen the Lollipop update yet?

Just found this interesting page over at Vodafone AU. It suggests Zx users may be waiting a while.

https://community.vodafone.com.au/t5/Software-Updates/2nd-April-2015-Software-Update-Weekly-Wrap/m-p/384976

Why dont Vodafone NZ do a page like this?

My Nexus5 has gained a new feature with 5.1 - random reboot. I'm not alone in seeing this, there are plenty of others complaining on the Google Android forum.

I guess it was there fix for the memory leak that required a manual reboot every couple of days to keep the phone working. smile

Any of you getting the icons top right WIFI and Cell bars have an x appear in front of them (like an out of service x).  They then randomly disappear again.  This has been only since I updated to 5.1, dont recall it happening with 5.0. (am on a nexus 5)

5.1.1 is starting to rollout.

I have already started mashing "Check for updates" every 30 seconds on my N6.

Edit: Changelog here.

Audiophiles are such twits! They buy such pointless stuff: Gold plated cables, $2000 power cords. Idiots.

Anyone seen 5.x updates on Moto G gen 1? Not expecting much for my wifes one yet, but it would be nice to know it is coming. Hers only got 4.4.4 about 4 months after it released to everyone else.
