what are your guys thoughts on the camera? i heard the shutter speed on it was a little slow? just been reading several reviews but getting your feedback would be good

I'm pretty happy with the camera. It is a bit slower than my S3 but I'm very happy with the quality. Haven't tried any low light situations yet.

Thanks all. Got the customs letter today. Camera reviews are pretty good but shutter speed isn't as quick as the iPhone/Galaxy series. Overall quality appears to be a good step up considering Nexus phones have generally always had average camera quality. Looking forward to finally getting mine tomorrow.

garvani: Purchased around 2pm Friday through online 2degrees store (with $69 plan). No sign of tracking id yet.. Inpatient much? yep!

Any idea how long it takes for them to dispatch an order?

You should have got an order number and link to the tracking site.

Please PM me the order # if you need it followed up or call 0800 022022 if it's urgent or 200 from a 2degrees phone and they'll be able to help.

Those who purchased their N5s off the US Play Store - how did you go about paying? When I've tried other times, the play store hasn't wanted to accept my NZ credit cards.

I'm quite keen on getting me one of those Nexus Wireless Chargers - just wondering what is the best way to pay. I can't see them being made available here anytime soon.

It's good to see the charger available already - it looks like Google might have finally gotten their act together with accessories after the debacle that was the GNex release (or more likely is was Samsungs fault). They released the phone and details of the docks in October, but it wasn't till the following April or May that the docks actually became available - they were 2 weeks away for months! Really - how hard can it be?

I used a westpac visa debit card with the youshop address as billing & account info, on a blank google account. i used tor to bypass the region block

Does anyone know if there is any stock at 2Degrees or Warehouse Stationery outlets?

I'm supposed to respect my elders, but it's getting harder and harder for me to find one now.

Nexus 5 White will be available in 2degrees and Warehouse Stationery stores from today. Black will be back in stock from Friday. :)
