I receive a lot of calls on my mobile, 0800 numbers diverted to it.  Im having a problem where the phone just randomly pics a contact and replaces that contacts number with a number from the recent call lists.  I have lost some of my numbers as a result.  And to top things off I just went to call a friend from my contacts and got a surprise when a customer of mine answered instead! Closer inspection revealed the phone number under the my friends contact entry had been changed to the phone number of a customer I had recently been dealing with and had called a few days ago.  I don't usually save customers numbers unless they are regulars and this customer was definitely not a regular.

Now I need to know if anyone else is having problems like this?  I have sifted through Google and not found a thing relating to this.

It seems to happen just randomly, possibly once every couple weeks and I just cant work out why?  But its very frustrating, I now have to check each contact before I call them to make sure their number is correct.  Im just ready to throw this piece of crp out and go back to the green screen 6 year old nokia I was using which I never had problems with.

You've probably installed some contact sync apps that have corrupt data, I assume your contacts are backed up on google, if so do a factory reset.

gone back to old nokia, galaxy s is too unreliable, besides problem described in first post I was also getting "emergency calls only" which kept coming up for no apparent reason and I had to reboot the phone to regain cell reception, also missed quite a few calls because of that.  Apparently the "emergency calls only" is a common problem.

My phone is a crucial part of my business, and I cant afford to miss calls. I will stick with the basic nokia now for business calls as in my opinion they are basically bullet proof.
