Has anyone got any experience with this tablet, ChildPad: http://childpad.us

They now come with a capacitive screen and only US$140. Looks like a fantastic tablet for kids.

This looks awesome on the surface... we've been thinking about a device for our kid since we're sick of him begging for our phones all the time to watch videos and play angry birds...

The ARNOVA ChildPad comes with 6 months of the internationally acclaimed parental control application

and

The ARNOVA ChildPad comes with “Alvin & The Chipmunks 3” content. The children will have access to special content provided by “20th Century Fox®” such as an exclusive behind the scene clip, pictures taken from the movie, wallpaper as well as an “Alvin & The Chipmunks 3” online game.

Hmm, I love the internal conflicts in the advertising, I would have thought the first thing to put under parental control would be any content containing alvin and the chipmunks :)

US$140?
seems like you might as well buy a Nexus 7 for an extra $60US. Pretty sure there are heaps of parental control type apps abvailable on the market place.
