A quick internet search reveals a few articles about ICS being rolled out for Galaxy Tab 10.1 and seem to be dated around August.

Kies still tells me I am on the latest firmware (am on Honeycomb 3.2).

I see another thread here about this but it seems to have become a little sidetracked so was wanting to know if anyone else has recieved an official ICS update for their Galaxy Tab 10.1 or if anybody knows when this might be rolled out in NZ.

Cheers

I have the Galaxy Tab 10.1 WiFi with ICS. I however flashed the UK version when it was released back in August. This was really simple and easy and I didn't lose any of my data etc. However this may potentially void your warranty.

If you want to go down this path, there are posts on XDA-Developers about how to do it. I will provide links to what I used when I get home.

This Youtube video should be helpful

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-QbfASbQMMI

I would recommend getting ODIN from xda developers instead of the links provided in the video.

And also the firmware from here http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/?page=3&model=GT-P7510&pcode=XEU&os=1&type=3#firmware

That link is for the UK WiFi GT-P7510 firmware. This worked fine on my New Zealand GT-P7510. I don't recommend you try another countries version if you have the GT-7500 (3G model).

I take no responsibility if this bricks your device. I just made sure to select the same options (be careful, the options in the video are in different places to where they are in the version of ODIN I used) and did't disconnect the tablet until it said it had succeeded, I think the tablet then rebooted itself.

Thanks for that, very helpfull. It is a shame that they have taken this long to release this in NZ.

My tablet looks to have just started downloading the ICS upgrade OTA
