Yes that's right, finally you can go through your apps list and delete those tried once, never again apps that are filling up your apps list. Great news!

Get it here http://files.androidspin.com/downloads.php?dir=androidspin/APKs/&file=com.android.vending_3.9.16.apk

Edit: To remove old apps

Go to Play Store > Menu > My Apps > ALL > long press the app you want to delete and just touch subsequent apps to add them to the delete list.

Dont try and remove apps that show as installed as the remove icon (top right of the screen) will disappear.

Seems you can only remove up to 2 apps at a time? It lets you mark as many as you want but I havent been able to see how to remove multiple apps yet. Found this out after going through 47 million unwanted apps and marking them for deletion, twice :(

About time. Thanks for the heads up!

Going back to G1-era apps, this is going to take quite some time. Hopefully someone can reverse-engineer the calls that're doing this and do a separate bulk-remove app.

I removed like 50 at once. Tap and hold an app on your all apps list and then tap on other apps you want to add to your remove list, then click the icon in the top right corner.

And they're immediately gone from my apps list on play.google.com too... awesome!

This is great. Been a long time coming.

Other news is that the new Gmail app will be finally allow pinch-to-zoom, and we also got hi-res display contact picture syncing the other day.

Looks like Google is finally fixing all those little issues that have been around for a while now.

figured out why l  could only remove two at a time, I was selecting an installed app which made the remove box  vanish.  trap for noobs :-):-)

Is the file you linked to some sort of pre-release or something?  Just wondering why these changes haven't been pushed out to everybody.

It's presumably from the 4.1.2 release for the Nexus 7?

Ah, so presumably it will be released to everyone in the near future.  Think I'll just wait and get it the normal way instead of sideloading it.

No, the real noob trap is trying to long press on apps to add them to your selection. ;)
Yours truly had given up and tried nearly everything (not kidding here) before realising that one...

Now I just wish the web version would let me delete old devices.
