Not sure if its a sync or display issue, but some the exchange contacts are not on my phone. Checked on Outlook ans iOS devices and they are there. It's new with minimal setting changes. Reviewed the contacts filters are none are applied. Anyone else encountered this? Note: I am synching with two Exchange servers, maybe this is contributing to it?

Deleted the account and added back in and the same contacts are not synching, I suspect there is a hidden attribute that is stopping them from being synchronised.

erased the phone back to factory defaults, synched with only 1 exchange account and still the same contacts are not being synchronised. It appears I'm back in the circle of hell I had with the S2, why did I think this would be better?!?

Maybe there's a maximum (I've got 684)?

Cleaned up my contact list, wiped device, re-sync, did some more cleaning of old contacts and contacts with missing details, wiped device, re-sync and then it appears to have worked. Did a superficial audit between Outlook and S4 Mini and contacts appear to be correct.

Not really and answer, but as close as I'm going to get.

Dunno what to say. I have a tablet and an S4, all my contacts that are available in google contacts are available on the phone, and they sync both ways flawlessly and in near real time.

I would certainly hope so. Google should be able to sync with their own software.
