Hi,

Some of you may be experiencing slow charging of your device with standard micro USB cables.  This has been found to be an issue with LG Nexus devices.  The problem can be fixed by using cables with heavier 24 gauge power cables, and decent length micro plugs.  More info at the links below.

I've purchased ten 6 foot Monoprice 28/24AWG cables from the US, and I'm selling some of them on TradeMe to cover the outrageous $60 shipping fee (the cables themselves only cost $1.80 each!!).  They're really high quality with ferrite cores and gold plated contacts.

This cable charges the S4 twice as fast as the Moto G cable, though at the same speed as the stock S4 cable. Interesting. Check out this post for more details.
