What do people think of the possibility of the Oppo Find 7 having a 50MP shooter?

If the rest of the internals match up to the screen and camera and 801 processor, could have a bit of a dark horse of a phone.

Yeah, very interesting. One presumes the 50mp is meant to be oversampled down to 5-8-13mp in practice I guess.

That would be the logical guess. Couple sites have said it gives great results when sampled down to 8mp

Given the hoopla and supposed years of development for the custom, patented 41MP in the 1020 - I have my doubts as to the veracity of any "50MP" claims - particularly from a company without a long history in imaging.

but hey - would be happy to be proved wrong.
