Now that the US edition of the Axon 7 has been announced, I was wondering the best way to get one in New Zealand. I could buy a Chinese one on aliexpress, or preorder a US one and ship it to nz using a third party service, but these ways both have problems. Does anyone know of a possible international release, or simply a way to order one?

Better to get a UK/European one - pretty sure from the digging I've been doing that it'll have band 28 support - but again, not sure how important that is for you!

It was announced in the UK before the US release, and will be shipping in Aug/Sept I think (have had delays).

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

Seems like US 400 plus youshop plus GST is gonna be best

UK youshop and phones is a no-go because of battery paranoia.

Sorry for asking another Axon 7 question, but I really am confused about the different editions. The lowest price I can find for the Chinese version is $525 USD, whereas the US version is going for $400 USD. Why the price difference? If I buy the phone without band 28 support, what does that mean for using it on the network? I am located in central wellington. Thank you for any help.

I'm also keen on the Axon 7. I see ZTE Australia is officially launching it there including band 28 support. It's AUD$699 so a bit more than the US version.

I guess not having band 28 may not be a big issue in Wellington and would depend on which network you're on. Spark/Skinny only offers 4G on band 28 in some places like Palmerston North and Hamilton so pays to check their website.
