Mi6 (5.12") est $370US

Mi6+ (5.7")

Ok those are the specs we know so far for release April 19

There are multiple versions of each.

Im after the Mi6 6GB model.

Main Specs

OS Android OS, v7.1.1 (Nougat) Chipset Qualcomm MSM8998 Snapdragon 835 CPU Octa-core (4x2.45 GHz Kryo & 4x1.9 GHz Kryo) GPU Adreno 540, IMX400 Sony 19MP Sensor (4 axis stab and I believe OIS). Dual SIM

So far the testing I have seen it is running faster than the Galaxy S8, so for me the specs are there all I need to know is the glass in front of that IMX400. 240fps 720p, 120fps 1080p, SWEET !

Not sure what an FS k1lla is but I love my Xiaomi Mi Max. Possibly the best phone I've ever owned.

What's an FS, and why would you want to kill it with bad spelling? ;)

It will be interesting to see if it has LTE Band 28, most of the Chinese manufacturers are a bit slow on the uptake.

No it wont imo, but my argument to that is, why do I need 4g when Im camping or driving? 3g still loads youtube. It still sends me my email as fast. Apps still work as fast.

For the 1% of usage I would be out of wifi hotspots/home and 4G coverage, I dont see why people worry so much about that band. It would be the very last spec on the list Id care about.

What more concerning for me is, the 5s was nearly a a galaxy S7 at $380nz. But where it failed was the lens. Now this mi6 has the best CPU, adreno 540 and the best sony IMX400, along with stabilisation etc. What will sell this phone and cut the costs of ludicrously over priced android and IOS phones will be the lens, will the f1.8 lens be sharp enough to compete. The zenfone 3 got close but its other specs suck in comparison to Xiaomi.

If the s6 gets to within 5% of the IQ of the Samsung, at $450 vs $1200 I think its a no brainer. Especially with post processing.

That's a pity, I couldn't accept that prize as I'm not a gen z... never mind
