I have just bought a moto X4 and have had it for 3 weeks. I am experiencing an issue where the screen won't turn on when using the finger print sensor or the power button. If I leave it for 1 minute, the screen will turn on. I have factory reset the device, but this hasn't made any difference. The issue happens about once a week, so isn't easily reproducible, but is happening frequently enough to be a problem.

This is quite annoying, especially when wanting to take a photo. At the weekend I ended up having to use my wife's mobile phone to take a photo because the Moto X4 wouldn't come to life.

I was wondering if anyone else with a Moto X4 has experienced this issue.

I've had issues like this on older Android phones I've had.

Usually the device is frozen due to a problem access the flash of the device - though it is sadly very, very hard to debug issues like this.

If you've jus bought it and this happening a lot, I would get it replaced.
