Morning,
Just wondering if there's any way to unblock geoblocking on Android 7? I used to listen to a countdown show online but it was recently changed to require an app download on your phone.
However when I go into the Google Play Store it tells me it's not available in my country.
Anyone know of a workaround for this? If it can't be done, so be it but I thought I would ask first.
Thanks in advance :)

This is for Rick Dees Weekly Top 40 - would that still work?

Addendum: this used to be streamable from his site (www.rick.com) via Flash Player - so it wouldn't work from my phone anyway, but then it was changed to require this app download...which only seems to work in the United States. Frustrating.

Tried it but the search didn't find anything (I even tried searching for The Simpsons to see what would happen but it didn't find that either)...am I doing something wrong?

You need to make a google account that has the USA as its country, and then change to that account in the play store to install it. The geoblocking is account based not location for app installs. That is why its a PITA for people that go to another country and need to get the (cough optus cough) app to manage their data sim, and end up having to mess about making another google account to get that and a banking app installed.

Ack that is a pain. Even if I got it installed that way my worry would be it seeing my IP and saying "non US IP address! I won't play the stream!"
