I just bought the Nokia 7 Plus yesterday, very happy with it.

It's currently on special at PBTech for $630 (normally $699) with 2 year warranty for the next 5 hours, alternatively you can get at parallel imported. I decided against the Nokia 8 Sirocco as the price to me outweight the extra features.

If you were looking at the "Nokia 8", I would highly recommend against it.

Motorola is also a very good option, I decided against it as it isn't apart of the Android One program and has less battery life than the Nokia 7 Plus.

I had been looking at the 8 for my wife, but decided the 7+ was the better deal, especially given Android One. 

Just to let you know, though, that PB Tech's sale price isn't amazing (no shock there!) - as I mentioned on the main thread on this phone, the Warehouse did 20% off all Nokia handsets a few weeks back so, with the additional 5% discount for purchasing with a Warehouse credit card, I paid $531.

So, if you're patient, I'm sure something this good will come up in the next few weeks.
