Hi,

I’m looking to get an S23 Ultra, and probably purchase it through One.

Does snyone know if One, or any of the other providers for that matter, load a custom OS images on these phones?

Cheers,
GM

Is that true of all providers? Are custom android versions from providers a thing of the past?

Not sure providers ever provided custom OS.

If you want something like Lineage OS suggest you look at devices that support it, but you're free much on your own

It's a thing of the past.  Updates come directly from the manufacturer now.

OP is likely referring to custom carrier app/shortcuts.

That is good news about updates coming direct from Samsung. I didn't know that had been changed.
