Hello peepz

Anyone here with NZ purchased Samsung A54 can tell me if there is esim feature on it

I am finding mixed info . YouTube says no in some videos . On some esim website A54 is included.

So I can't make out. I am thinking of gifting it so wanted to ask esim feature.

Also any pitfalls if I should be aware of .

Thanks .

Look to be various variations on that phone - I always find Samsung a bit annoying in that respect.

Different processors - depending on market, different network connectivity - depending on markets, even seen different glass - depending on markets.

This video has a 'how to check' - maybe try that:

Yes it's super confusing so that's why I wanted to check if the community here has anyone who has purchased here in NZ , can verify this for me

I had both an A54 and A34 for review here and they did not have eSIM support.

No apparent eSim option in the Sim Manager on my work A54 phone.

I can't comment on eSIM support, but the One.dafone supplied ones at least have dual SIM capability - there's a second slot in the SIM tray which can be either a second SIM or a microSD card (but not both).

+1 for the re-name. One should adopt it.
