Hi everyone. Apologies if this has been posted before. I had a look around and I couldn't see any threads that answered this question.

I recently bought an HTC Desire from the UK. I've had it unlocked and it seems to work fine, I can make and receive calls and texts, and the wifi works like a charm,=.

However, when I took it outside today, I was unable to connect to the internet via my mobile network. Nothing that requires an internet connection would work.

When I press and hold the power button, it says that Mobile network is on, and I definitely have plenty of reception.

Under settings, Wireless and networks, it says under Mobile Network 'connection failed'. There's nothing there underneath Access Point Names. Is that the problem? Can anyone help?

Again, sorry if this is a classic newb question, I did have a search, but I didn't see anything obvious...

Thanks in advance!

Andy
