It appears Samsung actually targets this for pedestrians and not drivers. My apologies for reporting otherwise. With that, then I can say that this is a great idea! Still, guys, be careful while walking and using this app as crossing any streets should require your full attention.

i think that the USA might have a better 'tool' to prevent txt'ing and driving.... their SMS spam is apparently so bad that a bunch of people are blocking sms service on their phones :P

I might get one a month and that pisses me off, cant imagine how annoying it would be to have a service destroyed by spam.

I'm using G-talk on my Galaxy :) although have tried out Road SMS a bit last week, onlyh thing i don't like is the top text you can't change it from Red...and I'm colour blind, so while I can see the keyboard, it's really hard to see what I've written.

Also it'd be good if they could incorporate Swype into it


Anyone installed the Google voice add on for SMS? Wonder how good that works
