Just a heads up for IT Pros/Admins in the forums... I have installed LogMeIn Ignition for Androd on my LG GW620 and it runs really well. It almost makes me feel like a big screen like the Sony Ericsson X10 would be good for this.

If you use LogMeIn to administer/remote access hosts this is a cool tool. IT doesn't give access to LogMeIn Pro2 features - it's only for remote access, but it does it well.

Using it over WiFi and it's nice and fast. My Android is currently on EDGE with 2degrees so I don't think it would be worth testing remote access on a slow network.

I used it when it was in Beta. Would be better with a larger screen but still usable on the Desire. Only ever used it over a WiFi connection though. Quite a price tag unless you intend to get a fair bit of use from it.

I have about 12 machines (PCs and clients) on my LogMeIn account - Ignition is very good for quick access to those, and I have a desktop licence for it, so it would be natural to use one on a smartphone.

For full disclosure I have received this licence from LogMeIn for evaluation.

Hi....have just purchased one of the Android Touchscreen MID from DealXtreme...I have been able to use DialMeIn Free to set up remote access using Wi-Fi to my Vaio. The lag time is pretty slow (but controls do work)....would buying Ignition speed things up do you think ?
