Looks like PSX4Droid is out!!! WOhoo, $5.99US on the marketplace, a must have app for a few people

Will have to get this asap!  RUns really smooth on the galaxy i9000 according to youtube videos, bit of trouble with the droid milestone and dell streak, but the N1 should be good as should the Desire

Doing mine now too, just had to find a Wifi hotspot, really hope GT1 or GT2 run, might have to get a Ziimote for a controller though, depending on how the touchscreen feels

A lot of people are getting the "Authorising purchase" problem.

I have an email from Google Checkout saying I've paid US$5.99 for the app and the Market seems to think i have paid, too, as it offers me the "Installed" option and says it is "Purchased".

But the authorisation transaction has not hit my back account as an authorisation pending payment, which they usually do almost immediately, even if they aren't actually paid out for up to 4 months afterward.

But a later transaction with Google Checkout for another app has shown up.

There appears to be some process flow problem relating to THIS app and getting the purchases authorised. It may even be that my bank has rejected the transaction for some reason....along with many other banks in many countries, judging by the comments I'm seeing. But this is speculation based on transactions that may not show up for days anyway.....so no one knows.

I'm still waiting. Hopefully it will be sorted out in the next day or two.

I purchased it last night, had no problems, but then I got it before every major mobile technology site ran an article on it today.

Runs beautifully, although to date I've only been playing FF7 on it.

Got the authorization issue too :( went to refund, refunded, then tried it again :( still waiting...will just start converting my old discs to Roms/Iso's

Hey NZTechFreak, did you try the wiimote? If it works nicely thinking about getting a couple of black Wii ones from Dealextreme or wholesaler just to throw in my bag

Not on my Galaxy S, doesn't have the right bluetooth stack (now really hanging on the release of cyanogenmod ROM, which will fix the issue).

For those having trouble purchasing from the Android Market - buy it from Slideme :)

I bought it via "SlideMe".

I had an account there, but had not associated a payment method with it. I did that today, using my VISA debit card associated with my cheque account. SlideMe charge a small amount to the card in US$ and you have to enter that amount on their site to verify the card. My bank only showed me the NZ$ amount (80 cents)...not the US$ amount...so I had a look at the exchange rates for today and got it right on the 3rd try of 4. Heh.  It was US$0.57....and I was counting down from 0.59 as it HAD to be around there somewhere. :-)

That done, I bought the app.

I then located a *.bin file to allow it to run.

Now I'll sort out a ROM for it. FF7 sounds like a good one.
