Woke up for the Christchurch quake to find an email saying Angry Birds beta is now available on the market. Great game, plays well on my SGS.

Quite fun in a battery sucking sort of way. Works well on my nexus.

Working well, a few occasional force closes aside on my Galaxy S, already finished though - need the full game!

Not showing in my Market BTW, for others with that problem try here http://bit.ly/c3PhJ4

I've spent about an hour playing Angry Birds today.....when I really should have been doing other things.

Looking good, then!

(Nexus One / CyanogenMod 6.0.0 Stable).

I tried finding this on the market last night, no where to be found.... anything I'm missing? Searched for it but results only showed up wallpapers, themes etc. I'm on an SGS with 2.1.

Using my Motorola Milestone (Telecom version), searched for Angry Birds, it was the first result.

you can't find it on the market, because i think it has been removed from the market. I scanned the QR code from appbrain, and it comes up with no matches. I guess you have to install via the apk link above.

2010-09-06 Monday 09:18am: I can see "Angry Birds Lite Beta" in the Android Market.

Nexus One / CyanogenMod 6.0.0

One of the benefits of running CM is you have 100% Market access. The stock ROMs tend to have limitations by phone / region.

The apk isn't protected, and it's a free app so I've backed it up with Appmonster. It's 11.something MB...so a bit large, but I could email it to someone as an attachment if you have Gmail as the attachment limit in Gmail is 20MB.
