Having seen what the Auckland folks have started recently I thought I'd gauge the interest in Christchurch. Would anyone be interested in a regular get together? I live 45 km north of ChCh so I'm not the best person to be an organiser. I'd be keen in get together, especially sharing dev stuff - I have only just started coding with the ADK.

Any takers in Christchurch?

I'd come out for a social thing, not much of a developer :P

I'm pretty handy with The GIMP or Photoshop though, I've developed themes for Rockbox and other open source projects.

Once we hit some arbitrary number of people...let's say...ummm....6 or so...we will need to sort out the where and when. Does anyone have any idea? Perhaps if there is enough interest in dev side of things we will need a projector. I think the ChCh .NET group used to have get togethers at the Incubation place on Armargh...anyone familiar with that?

I'd pop in and say hello if it was on and I was in Christchurch -- only tend to go there once a year for ski trips tho :p
