I can stop holding my breath:

http://phandroid.com/2010/10/14/angry-birds-for-android-a-quick-look-at-the-full-version-video/

"Yes darling, I'll do it in a minute, won't be long ...". Productivity goes down the drain for quite a while.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

Its out now. Its free, ad-supported at present. Already run my battery flat :-)

I'm supposed to respect my elders, but it's getting harder and harder for me to find one now.

Free, but my bet it's only until they get a lot of people hooked and then "up the game" by offering the next version ad free, fully paid.

They have stated that this is their intention.

I was prepared to pay for it after playing the demo for 5 minutes
It's only about a $1.50 for the iPhone version so I imagine it will be similar on Droid when it it becomes a paid for app.

I found "Doodle Jump" is also on the Market. I bought it. It's addictive. Nothing more need be said.

I'm picking it'll follow the Doodle Jump model and cost 3.5x the App store price on Android

can someone please help me, I've downloaded and installed the game successfully from getjar.com on my HTC wildfire (which is stated as being compatible with the game on the site) but when I try to play the game I just get a blue screen with a white stripe across the top and when I press the menu button I can just see a small amount of text along the white bar

I don't think it works on low resolution devices like the Wildfire yet - they've said they'll add QVGA support next release
