Video calling, same cost as a voice call.. interesting.

I've never made a video call before. I want to use that front facing camera for the first time. Anyone wanna swap mobile numbers? I'd like to try it with another Galaxy S owner. :)

(I topped up $150 at the Manukau store launch last weekend so I got enough credit for a minute or two)

heh, I would, but my phone is in repairs. I'm sure one of the SGS owners can help you out. :>

It's a bit weird eh, this request. The only guy I know with an SGS is in Aussie, and I cant reach him on MSN. As soon as he gets online I'm ringing Aussie.. Hopefully. :) I never wanted to try it because I thought it used up your data somehow.

I don't think it's a weird request. heh

I'm on 2Degrees too, so this is also a useful piece of information. :>

I don't believe 2degrees have interconnects for international video calling so you probably won't be able to call Australia with one.

I do believe video calling now works between Vodafone and 2degrees though.

Note the SGS is not the Apple iPhone. It uses standard 3GPP video calling. You can video call just about anyone with a 3G phone, not just another SGS user... as long as they are on 2degrees or Vodafone, not Telecom.
