Got my new Ideos Google phone from 2degrees yesterday ... so far I love it - it's all so seemless.  However, being the technology challenged person that I am, I loaded my profile into the email app before I realised that Google automatically worked for me (I have Gmail).  Now I don't know how to delete my profile as I really only need Gmail.  Currently I get notifications from both Gmail and the email app when I get a new email into my Gmail account.  This is mildly irritating at the moment, but think it will drive me completely nuts if I can't delete the profile.  Any ideas, anyone?

Cheers.

Hey - if you go into the email app, hit the option button (the button to the right of the 'Back' button), and select 'Accounts' you will be presented with a list of email profiles configured. Touch and hold the account you want to remove and you should get a context menu offering you the option to 'Remove Account'.

Think that should probably do it. The touch and hold stuff is great - there are many places you can do this to get further options and shortcuts etc.

Thanks for that SumnerBoy. Now I know how to select the options I'll be flying with the apps (I hope)! I'm just old fashioned and can't manage without a manual!!!! But have to say, it's a fab phone and I'm loving it.

Cheers.
