Just got a twit from Google saying the Nexus S is now out at Best Buy stores, onlin and in stores.

While I doubt if I will upgrade my N1 to this phone (because of the lack of a trackball and SD card) I will certainly go into a store and play with it a it before making a decision.  Last time I bought the N1 sight unseen on the day it was released and while I  am pleased with the phone (some hardware issues notwithstanding) I think this time I will play before deciding to purchase or not.

If I buy and end up not liking it, there's always Trademe!
