According to PC World Vodafone NZ will be stocking Samsung's new lineup of phones and Tablets, article says:

Nexus S - which vodafone already sell
Galaxy S II
Tab 10.1 (presumably the original fatter version)
Galaxy Mini
Galaxy Ace

See here http://pcworld.co.nz/pcworld/pcw.nsf/mobile/preview-samsung-android-tablet-and-smartphones
The PC World staff are quite good at answering questions, so you can ask them about the samsung event they went to and they should give you a pretty straight answer.

It's a shame what Samsungs done with the whole Galaxy Tab 10.1v and the Galaxy Tab 10.1.

If we are getting the 10.1v I think we can assume we probably won't be getting the 10.1 a few months after.

Kind of feels like the international market is being saddled with the lesser product, one that will have less support, less accessories, and very likely severely delayed updates.

Now its a toss up whether you want a NZ warranty, or the better tablet.

If you ask me, it looks like Samsung released the original 10.1, then saw the iPad 2 and realised they needed to tweak it, but had in the mean time promised Voda a product (exclusive?) so decided to release the original as the 10.1v while they go back to the drawing board to produce the new 10.1 (note no-one has seen a working model of the new 10.1 yet). So I would be happy to get later 10.1, should be better/thinner/lighter and maybe cheaper.
