Looking at http://www.engadget.com/2011/03/21/htc-incredible-s-review/ this sounds like a really good phone.

Thoughts? Anyone have one? I haven't seen it mentioned on any NZ forums (here of Gameplanet forums) yet Engadget's review really rates it. Good price too for what it does.

Its really only a slight incremental upgrade over their handsets from late 2010, I don't rate it particularly against anything coming out around now, but its a good handset.

Good song in your "last listened to" list.

"Ramble on" next?

Galaxy S has gone to its new owner. HTC Sensation has gone to its new
owner. Galaxy S3 has gone to its new owner. Now using Galaxy Note 3. Skipping Note 4 I think...

The Incredible S has a locked bootloader, so no custom ROMs and no sale to me.

What a precocious young dude you son must be. :D

There's much to enjoy. Seek out such hidden gems as Tangerine, I Would Still Be Loving You, Goin' to California and Battle of Evermore, should any of those have slipped beneath the radar. And if not, enjoy them anyway. :D

What a band. Was there when they played Western Springs all those years ago and I'll never forget how awesome it was. My first intro to Stairway To Heaven. Ah, the memories...

Ah, thanks. That's a pretty vital piece of info.

I own the HTC Incredible S. It's an amazing phone, love the latest HTC Sense. I haven't wanted to root the device as yet as I only root to customise and get new ROMs etc. I haven't even been tempted to look for a new ROM, not that there is any at the moment. The widgets provide everything I need. The phone itself is beautiful with the murdered out theme, black stealth. Love it! The camera is amazing. I thought I wouldn't like the contoured back of the phone but it makes it so nice to hold and doesn't look as intense when you hold it in your hands. Camera is amazing.

The phone has a 1Ghz processor with 768MB of RAM. It doesn't skip a beat at all. This is the best Android I've had. Would thoroughly recommend it.

Android New Zealand

Tablet: Asus Eee Pad Transformer
