Apparently it has been done, however as that is an old network handset it will be slow and clunky, and not work after next year. If you want to do it for the sake of learning then choice. If you want to do it to use as your phone, I'd recommend against it.
The very fact that you have asked people to spoonfeed you even this much information rather than search suggests to me that it will be too complicated and you would be better to just buy a suitable handset.
