I bought mine from Techbrands.co.nz for $799 plus shipping for the 16gb wifi version (not 10.1v, and came with Honeycomb 3.1 installed). I believe it is from the US though as it has an overseas charger and came with an adapter. Mobicity.co.nz also have them, but last I checked they were more expensive, and based on my experience in trying to buy one from them, I would not recommend.

3G version, 32GB for $1149.

Lucky we are seeing it here considering Apple has put in a court order to prevent the sale of this tablet in Australia!

Typical crapple. can't beat Samsung in the market so try to ban the product and beat them in court

A friend has the Acer A500 and really likes it. She won it, which may sway her decision, but she's got a Galaxy S2, had an iPhone, so is used to gadgets.

What is up with the zero marketing for android tablets in NZ. This tablet is the best competitor to the ipad yet it gets launched un announced.

No 16gb on the site tho...

May want to hold off on that purchase. In todays news: "Apple Australia is demanding Samsung send it its entire stock of Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablets to be destroyed as part of a legal battle that could soon extend to Samsung's smartphone range.

The Galaxy Tab 10.1's Australian launch was set for this month but Samsung has agreed to halt sales and advertising for the product following action by Apple in the Federal Court yesterday."

Hopefully they don't get their hands on my SG1

Nope, 32GB Galaxy Tab 10.1 (Google I/O limited edition one).

Switching to Transformer because I could do with pocketing the price difference for a few things at the moment, and its probably better suited to my use with its expandable storage.

To be destroyed? That seems awfully over-the-top! Well, it isn't affecting what's happening here in New Zealand, at least not for now.

I am deciding between this and the Asus Transformer. It's going to be a hard choice, especially when the Transformer gets 3G as well.

Apple is well over the top with that request, it won't happen. Besides, don't see why that legal action would have any bearing on a potential purchase of the Tab?
