dont get sgs1.

if you could stretch your budget, sgs2 is selling for $720 at einfotech.

or get lg optimus 2x for the similar price ($460) HERE

or HTC sensation for $650 HERE

I agree pointless buying SGS1 as it is pretty old hat now and you will kick yourself later. SGS2 is a bit more but for what you get in performance, size etc, its worth it.

I bought a mobile phone from einfotech a few months ago and it all went smoothly.

I'd suggest an LG Optimus 2x cause it's well priced and has some nice features like 8MP camera, Dual core 1GHz CPU, HDMI and Tegra 2 GPU.

And it'll probably see you through a year or two and by then Snapdragon S4 phones with Adreno 305 GPUs will be going cheap like they fell off the back of a KFC truck.

mmm.. LG optimus !? probably my lack of awareness but i never considered LG for smart phones. how good is this compared to Samsung galaxy?

i try to avoid online stores , i think they are imported ones and not setup for NZ and issues with any possible fault/warranty issues.
