Anyone got ideas who I talk to about repair a frayed ribbon cable on digitiser (Samsung 5503). see image attached - I was too rough with cleaning the contacts and broke the metal contact on No.3 wire of the cable

Or is it a ditch and pick up a new one?

If you are really stuck, solder a new direct lead to patch the broken track.

The ribbon cable if about 4mm across, each track, less than 0.5mm, beyond my soldering skills
