Just for any Nexus S users out there, I just got ICS update OTA on my VF Australia sourced I9023 so keep your eyes out for the update flag.

Have you tried forcing a check in?

Thanks, yeah I've tried that and I get "checkin succeeded" - still no update notification though.

Google has suspended the update to get some issues sorted out. You can still flash the update manually if you want to.

FYI. I bought my daughter a Nexus S from VF. We are in the us now and she just told me that it got ICS OTA. I am not sure how relevant it it but she is using a T-Mobile SIM but most of the time the phone is on wifi. So it must be coming out now.

Staying in Wellington. Check out my AirBnB in the Wellington CBD.  https://www.airbnb.co.nz/h/wellycbd  PM me and mention GZ to get a 15% discount and no AirBnB charges.
