I have been using Tweetdeck for ages on my Samsung Galaxy S (Ginerbread 2.3.3) to get Facebook and Twitter notifications. All of a sudden the Facebook notifications (likes, comments etc) have stopped coming into the 'me' column, and some old ones that were there have even dropped off. I am still getting the FB news feed in the Home column.

Is this a setting in Tweetdeck that has changed, or is it something in Facebook? Are there any other (better) ways of getting Facebook notifications pushed in Android?

I'm having the same situation. I don't know what's going on, but I uninstalled and reinstalled and nothing. :(

Very strange

Facebook has experienced some problems today, perhaps related?

Looking at the app data on Facebook for Tweetdeck, it hasn't read data from my notifications since Jan 20th, so I don't think it is to do with Facebook issues, it appears as though TweetDeck is either no longer doing this as a service or there is an issue with the app.

It is a bit moot now anyone as on Gingerbread I seem to be getting notifications pushed from Facebook itself
