Hi All,

Somewhere in the fun of the Wellington 7s my Samsung Galaxy S took an impact and is now damaged. The screen went the purpley colour and then slowly filled across with liquid. It is now totally black and unreadable. Now I know I can get a replacement off ebay and do it myself but, from what I read, it is a tricky phone to do... and my model making prowess as a kid is testament to my lack of skills in delicate areas!
There is a very handy local shop that'll fix it... when the Samsung guy gets back from a course in Korea on (allegedly) the SGS3! IN a month or more. Anyway it'll be too long.

Soooo, roundabout, is there anywhere anyone can recommend that I can courier the phone off to to get fixed and reasonably quickly?

Cheers

MP

I don't know much a bout the shop but you could check the mobicity nz website and see who they list as their warranty service centre in auckland and then contact them and ask.

Don't do it yourself, it's tricky.

About 3mo ago I smashed the screen on my SGS2, I went with the DIY route which worked fine for a month, then the screen failed to keep working. With no point of contact apart from me just ordering another screen at $160 I just used that money and bought a SE Xperia Active.

The SGS2 sat in my drawer, of which I threw out the other day as I didn't need it. Waste of $1100 :/
